The forum of former senators has backed Senator Godswill Akpabio as the 10th Senate President.
The convener of the group Senator Basheer Lado stated this in a press briefing on Monday in Abuja.
The group said in the spirit of equity, fairness and political experience senator Akpabio is the right candidate to lead the 10th Senate.
The group also affirmed their support for Senator Barau Jibrin as the Deputy senate president of the 10th Senate.
