Aiyedatiwa Sworn In as Ondo Governor

Deputy Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has been officially sworn in as the new governor of Ondo State.

Aiyedatiwa was sworn in on Wednesday by the state Chief Judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola, in Akure, the state capital, at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the governor’s office.

His inauguration comes following the passing of former governor Rotimi Akeredolu, who battled leukaemia and prostate cancer for a long time before passing away in the early hours of Wednesday.

Aiyedatiwa had to shorten his vacation and go back to Akure for the swearing-in ceremony.
