Alleged UTME f orgery: Reps order probe, jamb to lift ban

The House of Representatives has decided to investigate allegations of UTME forgery by 19-year-old Ejikeme Mmesoma.

Abiante Awaji-Inombek, a congressman from Rivers State, presented a motion to investigate the case.

In addition, pending the outcome of the investigation, lawmakers asked JAMB to lift the three-year suspension placed on the student.

Abiante argued that JAMB granted itself the authority to make accusations, conduct investigations, and impose sanctions without providing a fair hearing.
