The Academic Staff Union of Universities has advised the Federal Government to fulfill outstanding components of the memorandum of action it signed with the union before suspending the strike in February.
The union says it expects the government to strictly follow the timelines allocated to meeting specific demands now that elections are over.
Chairman University of Ibadan chapter of ASUU, Professor Deji Omole gave the advice in Ibadan.
According to him, while government has released N20 billion revitalization fund to universities, no institution has received the N25 billion earned academic allowances that government claimed it has released.
ASUU Chairman expressed disappointment over the allocation to education in the 2019 budget.
