Fuel Subsidy: We’re working tirelessly to avert workers’ strike – FG

The federal government has promised to address the complaints of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to prevent it from going on strike.

Tolu Verhejin, the special adviser to President Bola Tinubu, stated that the federal government will address the NLC’s concerns and prevent the planned strike on August 2 to protest fuel price increases and anti-poor policies.

The conference, held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, aimed to mitigate the consequences of fuel subsidy removal.
