Gunmen kill 24 in Benue community
Unknown gunmen have killed 24 people in the Zaki Akpuuna 1 and Diom communities of the Mbaterem area in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.
Ukum is one of three hotspots in the Sankera axis, where local bandits are believed to be part of Terwase Akwaza’s gang, Gana Rule.
The attack resulted in the deaths of 24 people and set fire to several homes in nearby communities.
