Leaders of the two warring communities of Ifon-orolu and Ilobu have expressed satisfaction about the dusk to dawn curfew imposed on the area by Osun State Government.
They spoke during an interview with SILVERBIRD NEWS 24 who visited the place to monitor the prevailing atmosphere in the two local government areas.
Normalcy had returned to the area as everybody now goes about his or her lawful daily activities without fear.
Governor Ademola Adeleke had on Sunday imposed an indefinite dusk to dawn curfew on Irepodun and Orolu local government areas to avert communal conflict between Ilobu and Ifon-orolu from further escalation.
Unconfirmed reports say no less than two people had lost their lives in the conflict occasioned by land dispute between the two communities.
Spokesperson to the State Governor, Mallam Rasheed Olawale said the government has been engaging with the leaders of the two communities to restore back peace and unity to the areas.
