JAMB to prosecute, withdraw result of Anambra candidate, Mmesoma
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said that it will withdraw the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME result of one Ejikeme Mmesoma’s for allegedly manipulating her scores.
It said that Mmesoma from Anambra State will also be prosecuted for misleading the public to gain scholarships and recognition through fraud.
JAMB declared the false results, stating that Mmesoma’s original score was 249 but was altered to 362 by a fake application.
The board said that certain 2023 UTME candidates are using fictitious results to gain an unfair advantage.
JAMB also mentioned the Kaduna case of Atung Gerald, who purportedly claimed to have received a 380 as it cautioned the public against falling for the candidates’ antics.
