The family of DJ Avicii, who died last year, has launched a foundation to support people with mental health issues to homour his memory.
The real name of the Swedish DJ was Tim Bergling and was best known for hits including Wake Me Up and Hey Brother.
He died in Muscat, Oman, in April 2018 at the age of 28.
Following his death, the late DJ’s family said he was an “over-achieving perfectionist” who worked at a pace that led to “extreme stress”.
Relatives have announced the Tim Bergling Foundation, which they say will initially focus on supporting people and organisations in the field of mental illness and suicide prevention.
