Maritime Sector: FG Ures Judiciary To Be Independent

The Secretary to the government of federation, George Akume has call for the need for an independent and corrupt free Judiciary that will encourage foreign and private sector investment in the maritime sector.

The secretary to the Government of the Federation stated this during the 17th international maritime seminar for judges, in Abuja.

Senator Akume called on all stakeholders to work together harmoniously to eradicate corruption and corrupt practices from the maritime industry.

He said president bola tinubu administration recognize the essential role and economic significance of the maritime sub-sector in diversifying, revamping, and strengthening the nation economy.
