Two Fulani herdsman have been killed in Okwu-Uratta community in Owerri North local government area of Imo state.
One of the three herders who escaped the scene unhurt alerted the leader of the Myeitti Allah cattle breeders association in the state.
The lifeless bodies of the two herders were seen in an uncompleted two-story building suggesting they were fast asleep when the killers attacked them.
The leader of the myeitti Allah in the state, Mr. Yahaha Arunna and the special assistant to the governor on northern affairs Ibrahim Suleiman had called on security agency to apprehend the perpetrators of the dastard act.
The head of agro rangers NSCDC Imo command DSP Obijack Peters confirms the incident with the assurance that security operatives in the state will not relent in their effort to arrest the men who perpetrated such evil.
