Former Gombe council boss sentenced to 31 years in prison

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Gombe Zonal office has secured the conviction of one Samuel Bulus Adamu the former Chairman of Shongom Local government area of Gombe state

The convict was charged before Justice N. I . Afolabi of Federal High Court Gombe on a seven count charge bordering on fraud, cheating and money laundering.
A statement by the EFCC Zonal Public Relations Officer, Bello Bajoga said Bulus, a former chairman of Shongom Local Government Area of Gombe State was arraigned on the 9th of March, 2015 on Seven count charge and he pleaded not guilty.
