Insecurity: NANS urges FG to secure release of abducted students

Worried about the dangerous trend of insecurity and the effect on the nation’s social economic, political development; the National Association of Nigerian Students is advocating a decisive actions.

Some of the concerns raised by apex students governing body is not limited to armed robbery, kidnapping and banditry.

Addressing Newsmen at the Nigeria Union Journalists Press Centre, Oke Ilewo, ABEOKUTA, the National President of the association, Okereafor Bestman Opeyemi wants federal government to secure the safe release of the abducted students in captivity across the country.

Okereafor says the students body has absolute confidence in the gallant and intelligence security agents; He, however disassociates the students body from a purported meeting with Sheik Gumi
