Home Owner Charter

Ogun State government says it will review the Home Owner Charter programme implemented by the immediate-past government of Ibikunle Amosun to avoid previous illegality and inconsistency.

For now, according to Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Olatunji Odunlami, residents of the State and people from other parts of the country or in diaspora could apply for building permits for commercial and residential purposes online, without visiting any government agency forthwith.

Mr. Odunlami assures that, the home owner charter executed by the previous administration had some inconsistencies and would need to be reviewed before the present government could adopt it.

He said the online registration was one of the major reforms in urban development sector to forestall multiplicity of charges, revenue leakage and removal of all the existing bottlenecks hampering prompt access to building permits.
