In it resolve to fight criminality head on, the Nigeria police force Imo command under the leadership of Rabiu Hussaini has again recorded victory following the gallantry disposition of his various tactical units.
Among the command’s recent successes include the arrest of a notorious kidnapping syndicate responsible for the kidnap of a catholic priest, an operation executed and perfected by the Anti-kidnapping unit of the command.
CP Hussaini while parading well over thirty suspects for various capital offense committed in the state reiterated the position of zero tolerance to crime and criminality.
The Kidnapped reverend father, who gained his freedom after paying a total sum of five million naira as ransom narrated his ordeal in the hands of the kidnappers.
In their confessional statements two out of the six-man kidnapp-gang said lack of jobs and hardship pushed them into committee the crime, one of them who described himself as a pastor and father of five, based in lagos pleaded for mercy.
