Four outstanding illustrious Nigerians have been nominated for the highly esteemed Silverbird Man of the Year, Twenty Twenty One.
They are in no particular order:
Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi, an industrialist: for generating employment even in the midst of COVID- nineteen and general insecurity in the country. Afolabi is a Member of the Order of the Niger since 2010 In recognition of his contribution to the Nigerian industrial sector.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo- Olu for transforming Lagos into a huge construction site through infrastructural renewal and repositioning Lagos onto the pathway of an emerging Smart City State and a sub-national of global reckoning.
Bauchi Stare Governor, Bala Mohammed: for ensuring and maintaining peace and total reengineering of the educational and I T sectors. The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule for his unprecedented work in changing the look and feel of rural communities and the regeneration of major cities in the state.

The Silverbird Man of the Year was instituted sixteen years to honour individuals or organisations who have impacted the lives of Nigerians positively through their chosen careers or public office.
