by Kunle Awosiyan

The House of Representatives is set to rescind its decision on the recently rejected bills for thirty five percent Affirmative action for women, Citizenship and indigeneship.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila made this known on Tuesday at plenary noting that the House will enlist the three items, suspend it’s relevant rules and recommit same to the Committee of the whole for voting again.

Recall that the House had voted against the bills relating to women resulting to public outcry.

The speaker noted that once the house votes on the bill with a difference, the house will be forced to go for Harmonization with its senate counterpart
