As fuel shortage hits Ogun State, residents are appealing to Nigerian governments to live up to expectations. MOST FILING STATIONS ARE SHUT AGAINST CUSTOMERS WHILE OTHERS HAVE LONG QUEUE

The challenge an average Ogun citizen encounter to get fuel in the last fifteen days. The situation in Ogun State first started as panic buying, later to increment in pump price in the last three days.

Major marketers usually do not have the product regularly, hence the masses are at the mercy of few independent fuel stations,

Official of independent petroleum marketers association of Nigeria linked the ongoing fuel scarcity to the high cost of diesel as well as the inability of petroleum marketers to load fuel directly from any of the government-owned depots.

NLC says Nigeria’s petroleum sector is compromised; as bulk passing and corruption now order of the day.
