Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN) has urged religious organisations to leave the public space for politicians and go back to homes and worship centres.
He said this while reacting to the All Progressives Congress Muslim-muslim presidential ticket on a television programme, adding that religion should go back to the hearts of the people, homes and worship centres.
“I have made my position known severally over religion in politics that religion is better displayed at homes and worship centres,” he said.
On the chances of the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 election, Fashola said that he was sure that the former Lagos State Governor, who is also is predecessor would win the election.
“I have worked with Tinubu and found out that he is the most qualified candidate to lead this country among others,” Fashola said.
