COVID-19: Nigeria records 252 new cases, 3 deaths

Nigeria has recorded additional two hundred and fifty two (252) new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to fifty two thousand, eight hundred (52,800)

This was announced by the Nigerian Cente for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday via its verified Twitter handle

The new cases were recorded in eighteen states of the Federation with Plateau recording the highest number of 50-cases followed by Enugu-35, Rivers-27 while Lagos, the epicenter of the virus recorded 26 new infections, among others.

So far 39,964 cases have been successfully treated and discharged while a total number of 1,007 persons have died from COVID-19 complications
