The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has restated the commitment of the Police Force to adhere strictly to the statutory entry requirements in the ongoing recruitment screening exercise

This was contained in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba in reaction to unfounded reports suggesting that the IGP Adamu had suspended the entry requirements for candidates who applied to join the Force as Police Constables

Citing sections 71 to 75 and other relevant sections of the Police Act and Regulations, the P.R.O said all candidates who successfully completed the online recruitment registration exercise were invited for physical and credential screening from August 24 to September 6, 2020 at various venues across the states of the Federation and the FCT
