Aftermath the debate between the two Edo State governorship contenders, Godwin Obaseki of PDP and Osagie Ize-Iyamu of APC on Sunday, electorate must have made up their minds on who to vote for.

The debate ended dramatically when Obaseki asked Ize-Iyamu how he would generate the fund to run his government if voted in, judging by the present economic distress caused by COVID-19 pandemic.

However, to most public analysts, performance at the debate does not really matter but the conduct at the election, stating that INEC must raise its game to reflect the will of the electorate.

According to a guest on STV News 24, for the election to be credible, the INEC must be tasked beyond just conducting the poll but should be ready to prosecute election offenders.
