The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, yesterday, promised a brand new Super Eagles squad capable of lifting the African Nations Cup trophy and surpassing the previous FIFA World Cup records.

Pinninck, during an interview with a Nigerian daily at the NFF secretariat in Abuja, assured that the post COVID-Nineteen Super Eagles squad will be the team Nigerians would be proud of.

NFF boss said Nigerians should look forward to the same youthful, discipline, passionate and patriotic team, adding that with new players being tried out, the goal is to win the Nations Cup.

He added that Nigeria will not only qualify for the next World Cup, but also surpass previous records, hence the motivation for playing two international friendlies as the Federation hopes to build a new dynamic and great team.
