#EndSars: how hundreds of protesters marched on Plateau

Hundreds of people marched through the streets of Plateau State capital Jos on Sunday to demand the end to SARS and police brutality.

The #endSARS protest in Jos started rather slowly at the start of last week but picked up with each passing day.

The protest has also assumed a carnival like procession with self sustaining elements like food, water and even an ambulance

But on Sunday, The #EndSARS protest in jos, the plateau state capital took a prayer walk dimension as hundreds of protesters and christian faithful embarked on a prayer walk around the state capital.

The prayer walk started at about 2:00 pm at Old Airport Junction to various parts of the state capital and eventually terminated at Olusegun Obasanjo Model Primary School at about 6:30 pm with intense prayers for the nation and those in government led by Prophet Isa El-Buba of EBOMI prayer ministry and other clergymen

Sunday’s Prayer walk drew the largest crowd since the #EndSARS protest began in jos.

The placards carrying faithful had inscriptions such as ‘Let there be justice, equity and fairness in Nigeria’ ‘O’ Lord heal our land’ and other appealing inscriptions.
