ENDSARS protesters: AIG zone 5 warns against violence in Edo

Following the directive to reclaim public space and provide security for the citizens by the Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu, the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone Five Benin City, is calling on trouble makers to desist from continuing to cause disrupt in the state.

Addressing Journalists at the Zone five headquarters, the AIG in charge of Edo and Delta State, Sholla David, urged citizens to eschew crimes and criminality while appealing for peace.

His warning is coming on the heel of the renewed attack warehouse as well as the perpetual looting and destruction of public and private property by some alleged hoodlums who recently hijacked the ENDSAR Protest in the state .

On his part, the Commissioner of Police, Edo State, Johnson Kokumo, said several arrests have been made.

He insisted that only hoodlums and not EndSARS protesters were arrested.
