Los Angeles Police has confirmed one person has been killed and three others injured in a shooting during Nipsey Hussle’s funeral procession in the same city.
Chief Michel Moore confirmed the shooting on Twitter, saying suspects in a grey Hyundai fired on the victims.
He said the victims included three black men and a black woman, aged between 30 and 50 years old.
This happened as thousands of fans and scores of big name stars had gathered at the Staples Centre to pay tribute to the murdered 33-year-old rapper.
The likes of Beyonce and Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent were all seen in the arena during the three-hour memorial service for the musician.
The attendees were seen scurrying for safety during the shooting.
Chief Moore asked that there must be a stop to this senseless violence.
