BREAKING: NLC PROTESTERS PULL DOWN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY GATE IN ABUJA
Angry protesters have pulled down the gate of the National Assembly in Abuja.
Earlier, security guards stationed at the legislative building were asked to open the gates so that the angry workers could vent their frustration.
The demonstrators were led by the leaders of organised labour, Joe Ajaero of the Nigeria Labour Congress and Festus Osifo of the Trade Union Congress.
Angry protestors pulled down the gates and poured into the assembly complex to express their rage after the security officers failed to follow through.
