The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC Ltd) remitted N4.5 trillion as revenue to the federation account in October.
This was revealed on Wednesday during NNPC Ltd.’s Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari’s appearance before the Senate Committee on Finance to defend the company’s budget for the fiscal year 2024.
Mr Kyari clarified that NNPC Ltd. was able to operate more efficiently thanks to the passage of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).
