Ogun 2023: ADC Governorship Candidate Says Party Has Better Chance

by Silverbird News24

Ahead of Saturday’s governorship election, African Democratic Congress ADC in Ogun State says the party has a better chance to defeat the reelection bid of the incumbent Governor Dapo Abiodun.

The party’s Governorship Candidate, Biyi Otegbeye maintains that, the party is determined for a new Ogun State and would do everything possible to make the state great.

ADC in Ogun State supported the All Progressives Congress APC presidential candidate in the recently concluded presidential and national assembly elections; but all its candidates for Red and Green Chambers did not make it.

To that extent, the party maintained that, Saturday’s elections would be a different narrative.

Otegbeye said to govern Ogun State, requires commitment, competence, physical and mental energies; hence condemning the approach of the incumbent Governor for allegedly procuring endorsements from traditional rulers and groups in a bid to win re-election.

He sued for peace; calling on security agencies to create level playing field for all the candidates for a credible, fair and free exercise.
