The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has sympathised with victims of the train accident that occurred on Thursday morning.
Two people were confirmed dead while an unspecified number of people were injured after a passenger train crushed a Lagos State Government staff bus on its way from Ikotun enroute Alausa, the state secretariat, at the PWD area of the state
The accident happened around past 7am on Thursday.
In a message on his Twitter account, Sanwo-Olu prayed for families of the victims and appreciated the efforts of the rescue team.
