Senate clears Nyesom Wike for ministerial appointment
The Nigerian Senate has cleared Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, for a ministerial position.
Wike arrived at the National Assembly to present himself for his ministerial screening before the parliamentarians.
It is unknown which ministry Wike will head, despite the Senate’s approval.
