Sit-at-home: Stay off Yorubaland, it is not Biafra Re-public- Gani Adams warns IPOB leader
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Simon Ekpa has received a warning from Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, not to proceed with plans to stage the sit-at-home protest that is currently being forced in the Southeast to pressure the Federal Government for the release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu from detention in Lagos State.
Aare Onakakanfo Adams warned IPOB against considering such a move or attempting to impose the IPOB agenda on Lagos or any other region of the Southwest because the region is not the Biafra Republic.
According to reports, Ekpa hinted in a tweet on Wednesday that IPOB planned to replicate the sit-at-home protest in Lagos.
