Subsidy Removal: Lawmaker Appeals for Calm Says FG Plans CNG Mass Transit Buses

In a bid to make mass transportation more affordable, Chairman Senate Committee on Gas, Senator Agom Jarigbe has assured that President Bola Tinubu is projecting a cost of N250 per litre for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) a more cost-efficient alternative to Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), or petrol after stopping the payment of trillions of naira in fuel subsidies.

The Cross River North District Lawmaker gave the assurance after a closed door session with the Chief Executive Officer in company of a delegation from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority on a briefing on gas projects in the Country.
