Sudan Humanitarian Crisis: UN Projects Over $3bn For Aid

The United Nations said Wednesday that $3.03 billion would be needed to provide urgent aid to people in conflict-ravaged Sudan and to those who have fled the violence into neighbouring countries.

In a revision of its response plan for Sudan, issued after a bloody conflict erupted on April FIFTEEN, the UN said TWO POINT FIVE SIX BILLION DOLLARS would now be needed to provide assistance inside Sudan – up from the ONE POINT SEVEN FIVE BILLION DOLLARS estimated just a few months ago – while another FOUR HUNDRED AND SEBVENTY MILLION DOLLARS would be needed to assist those who have fled the country.
