10th Nass : Abbas Emerges Speaker House of Representatives

Representative Tajudeen Abbas has emerged the speaker of the 10th House of Representatives with over three hundred votes.

The former House leader of the 10th House Alhassan Ado Doguwa nominated him on the floor with the lawmaker accepting his nomination

Tajudeen abbas contested alongside the former Deputy Speaker of rhe House in the 9th House, Idris Wase and Representative Aminu Jaji

Tajudeen abbas was the preferred candidate for the All Progressives Congress as the speaker and Hon. Benjamin Kalu was the Deputy Speaker

Meanwhile Hon Benjamin Kalu has emerged the Deputy Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives.

Benjamin Kalu a member from Bende Local Government Area of Abia State was nominated unopposed for the position.

Benjamin Kalu who accepted the nomination is a second term member and chaired the House Committee on Media in the Ninth House of Representatives.
