The Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area in Lagos State, Babatunde Oke, is dead
Oke’s death was confirmed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akerele Ismail, on Wednesday. Ismail said his boss died on Wednesday morning but did not provide the cause of his death. However, a statement by Mr. Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has confirmed that the LCDA boss died from COVID-19 complications.
Meanwhile, Sanwo-Olu has expressed sadness over the sudden death of the Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of the State, Hon. Babatunde Oke.
Governor Sanwo-Olu in a condolence message issued on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, said Oke’s demise is a big loss to his council and Lagos State.
