World of Records: Silverbird Warms Up To Produce Another Kaffy

Following its feat of producing a Guness World Record in dancing with popular Nigerian Celebrity,
Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau popularly known as Kaffy in 2006, Silverbird group is cooking is cooking a TV series, Silverbird World Records.

The first event will be a dance marathon. According to a statement by the organisers, the goal is to have a dance marathon event that aims to set a new record for the longest dance marathon by an individual.  A winner will go home witth N1 million.

The statement reads in part, “As the creative industry continues to thrive locally, the demand for more talent discovery platforms can never be overemphasized.

Silverbird group has decided once again to create a global record by empowering new stars.
The Silverbird’s World of Records proudly presents, the Marathon Dancing Record Attempt. The first event in a series of world record attempts.

The event will take place on the 2nd of August, 2024 at the Silverbird Galleria in Victoria Island, Lagos.
To be the next dance star, you must be 16 years old and above.”

Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau popularly known as Kaffy is a Nigerian dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and fitness coach. Kaffy alongside her team set the record for the longest dance party in 2006 as she danced for 52 hours and 3 minutes without stopping.
