2023 AFCON: Yusuf Injury Not Serious

Injured Super Eagles midfielder Alhassan Yusuf has said his injury is nothing serious.

The Royal Antwerp star player was one of the surprise starters in the Super Eagles game against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday and he did not disappoint.

Until his injury, Yusuf was adjudged as the best Nigerian player on the field with his superb display.

He was replaced in the 69th minute by Joe Aribo after he suffered an injury and had to leave the pitch.

According to the player after the game, he made it clear that it was just a cramp and nothing serious.

Barring any reoccurrence of injury Yusuf is expected to be back in the starting lineup for the Ivory Coast clash on Thursday.
