2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers:- Iwobi Begs Nigerians Over Eagles ‘Poor Outings

Super Eagles Forward, Alex Iwobi has said the team will continue to fight to secure the qualification ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Iwobi stated this during the post-match interview after the Super Eagles settled for a 1-1 draw on Day 2 of the FIFA World Cup qualifying African series against the Warriors of Zimbabwe in neutral Rwandan ground on Sunday.

Iwobi called on Nigerians to stick with the team saying that they would improve their game for better outings in subsequent matches.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers resume in June 2024 with Nigeria hosting South Africa, current leaders of Group C, before travelling to an away game against Benin Republic.
