Gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked Kulben community in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State and killed TEN PEOPLE.
A resident of Kulben village, Moses Fwan, on Monday, confirmed the attack
Fwan said the incident which happened on Sunday night also left several houses belonging to villagers destroyed by the bandits before they fled the community.
Fwan said, “Armed militia group attacked our community in Kulben village within Kombun District of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The Chairman of Mwaghavul Development Association in Kombun District, Dr. Elisha, who also confirmed the attack.
When contacted, the Spokesman for the Plateau state Police Command, Alfred Alabo ,said his office was yet to get a report of the incident .
When also contacted, the media officer for the Military Special Task Force in charge of maintaining peace in the state, Captain Oya James, said he is unaware of the incident.
James, however, promised to investigate the incident and take necessary action to forestall further occurrence.
