Dangote Refinery Won’t Reduce Price of PMS-Senator Murray-Bruce

Founder of Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has said that the newly inaugurated Dangote Refinery May not necessarily reduce the fuel pump price in the country.

He said this shortly after the inauguration of the refinery at Lekki Free Trade zone, Lagos, adding that the company would sell fuel at the international market value.

“He won’t subsidise, government can subsidise. If he doesn’t charge market value, he’s going to be broke. He will charge market value for the PMS.”

Murray-Bruce went further to criticise successive administrations for failing to fix all the refineries in the country in the last 20 years.

“They can’t fix the Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Warri Refineries. I think government should apologise to Nigerians for being so inept. I think Dangote is a hero for doing what government failed to do.
