A lying in state has been held for former governor Rotimi Akereodolu at the governor’s office, Akure.
Speaking at the event, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, said former governor Akeredolu was a courageous leader who stood against injustice.

According to him, the former governor brought rapid development to the state in every sector.
