Keep Aina’s Video Clips To Teach Right Full-Back-Odegbami

Thanks to the legendary Segun Odegbami for this headline. He was with the Super Eagles a few days before their match against Cameroon.

Odegbami said he hardly intervened in coaches’ work but that he had visited the team because he so much believed in Super Eagles’ capacity to lift the AFCON again.

He commended the Nigeria’s right Full-Back, Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina for his masterful display in this tournament so far and advised that the tape of his matches should be archived as a template to teach any right full-back.

Ola Aina has been a delight in this tournament. He has been a combination of talent, quality and power.

His mobility, touches, long throwing and solidity in the Super Eagles’ defence are enough features to poach him away from his present club, Nottingham Forest, perhaps after AFCON.

Apart from a yellow card he got against Cameroon, Aina hasn’t put a foot wrong in this tournament for the Super Eagles.

Memories of his stylish and skillful performance in his classy back heel assist to Odion Ighalo against Burundi at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt are still fresh.

Eagles strong defence is steadily erasing the fears of not having a good coach in Jose Peseiro.

The introduction of Stanley Nwabali in between the sticks has brought solace to the team, however, his late injury has suddenly created a fresh fear for Super Eagles’ fans.

While we wish that Nwabali gets well soon, we have to start our prayer session again for Francis Uzoho to man the posts properly.
