Keyamo summons heads of aviation agencies over safety concerns

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has summoned leaders of aviation regulatory bodies due to safety concerns in the industry.

The minister stated that during the meeting, a comprehensive evaluation of recent occurrences will be conducted.

Due to bad weather, United Nigeria Airlines recently had to reroute its flight from Lagos to Abuja to Asaba, the capital of Delta State.

Arriving from Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Terminal 2, the flight NUA 0504 took off yesterday, Sunday, bound for Abuja.
