MOSOP Urges Tinubu To Probe Ogoni Cleanup Funds

Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People,MOSOP has called on President Bola Tinubu to investigate the $800 million budget for the Ogoni cleanup project over the past seven years.

The organization demands the dissolution of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP), which has been accused of theft and missing over $200 million.

MOSOP president Fegalo Nsuke said that the Buhari’s investigation was ineffective and urged the current administration to ensure accountability and transparency in the project’s execution.
