National Stadium Surulere Wears New Look

National Stadium Surulere wears new look with tartan tracks, football field, and scoreboard.

The main bowl of the National Stadium Surulere is wearing a new look, following the facelift done by former Minister of Sports Sunday Dare.

The main bowl of the stadium, had been abandoned for several years but has been renovated by the outgoing Minister of Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare as part of his projects during office.

Major parts renovated were the installation of new tartan tracks, the growth of lush green grass for the football field, and changing of the scoreboard.

Despite the renovations of these aspects, some vital parts of the stadium remain an eye-sore, especially the spectator’s stands, flood lights, and major parts of the stadium.
