The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Olakunle Oluomo has been impeached.
Oluomo was impeached today at the Assembly complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the State capital.
Oluomo’s impeachment is coming after Governor Dapo Abiodun secured his Supreme Court victory
In what appeared like a coup, 18 members of the Ogun state House of Assembly impeached the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo.
Silverbird News24 gathered that Oluomo’s opponent at the last speakership election, Hon. Oludaisi Elemide has been announced as the new speaker.
