The Enugu State government has urged citizens to defy the sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The government has ordered everyone to resume their regular Monday activities and issued warnings to civil officials, businesses, and institutions not to follow the illegal order.

Secretary Prof. Chidiebere Onyia stated that the ban on the illegal Monday sit-at-home order remains effective and that the state government will punish those who disobey its decision to revoke the order.
