Two Dead In Osun Church Collapse

Two women were reported dead on Thursday after a building serving as a church collapsed in Ikirun, the capital of Osun State’s Ifelodun local government area.

According to the findings, the deceased were among those who were trapped under the rubble after the building fell on Wednesday evening, and workers were still on site.

The Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Osun State Command, Kehinde Adeleke, who confirmed the incident on Thursday, said the building located behind Eweta Community Primary School collapsed around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

She continued by saying that the four victims who were buried beneath the debris were found by community members who were worried and were rushed to the hospital, badly hurt.
