As Nigeria prepares to take on Lesotho in the World Cup qualifier in Uyo, Alwa Ibom on Thursday, the Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro has named Francis Uzoho as his best goalkeeper.
He said this alongside the team captain Kenneth Omeruo during a press conference, adding that Uzoho remains the best goalkeeper in camp right now.
“Uzoho is our goalkeeper, Okoye, Ojo, Amas, and Adeleye are our goalkeepers. I am not stupid, I want to play the best players, but it is my confidence to play Uzoho as the number one.” – Jose Peseiro

Consequently, Uzoho starts in goal against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
